Luke 8:4-15
This week at The Church at Clawson and The Church at Madison Heights, we continue our series How God Became King by looking at one of Jesus’ most important teachings—the Parable of the Sower (Luke 8:4–15).
After the King is announced and steps into His mission, He begins to speak. And this parable shows us something essential: the difference is not in the power of the Word, but in how it is received. Jesus reveals that every heart responds differently when the King speaks—some reject, some receive temporarily, some are divided, and some truly receive and bear fruit.
This message is not just about soils—it is about how we hear Jesus. Because nothing He teaches will take root in our lives unless we first learn to receive His Word with humility and faith.
Join us as we ask a simple but important question: How are you hearing the King?
